Easy Tutti Frutti Semolina Cake
Hello! To all my lovely readers and brilliant chefs. Chef Miki is here to share a great recipe.
Have you ever been in a situation where you are craving cake but are too lazy to go out and buy it or are short on all-purpose flour?
WELL, Worry not. Try Chef Miko's Tutti Frutti Semolina Flour Cake.
Ingredients
Semolina flour 2 cupCurd 1/2 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Oil 1/4 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Oil 1/4 cup
Milk 1/3 cup
Tutti Frutti 1/2 cup
Milk powder 2 Tbsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
All-purpose flour 1 tsp
Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
All-purpose flour 1 tsp
Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- In a bowl add curd, powdered sugar, cup oil and milk powder. Whisk well till it becomes smooth.
- Now add semolina flour and mix till the texture changes from liquid to semi-solid. Cover and put aside for 20 min.
- After 20 min, uncover and baking powder, baking soda & milk. Mix all the ingredients till everything is well combined. (Avoid overmixing)
- In a separate bowl add tutti fruiti & 1 tsp all-purpose flour. Mix till all tutti frutti are covered by flour.
- Now add this tutti fruiti into the previous batter. Then add vanilla essence into the batter and mix.
- Now take a 6-inch baking tray and spray it with cooking spray, and put parchment paper into the mould. Transfer the batter into the mould. Gently tap the mould to smooth the batter.
- Garnish it with finely chopped nuts. (Optional)
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 35 to 40 min.
- Set it aside for cooling at room temperature.
Slice it,
