Ingredients

For the Cake:
  • 2 cups     All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup       Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp        Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp     Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp     Salt
  • 1 cup       Brewed Coffee
  • 1/2 cup    Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp        Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp      Apple Cider Vinegar

For Dalgona Coffee Topping:
  • 2 tbsp    Instant Coffee
  • 2 tbsp    Sugar
  • 2 tbsp    Hot Water
  • 1 cup     Whipped Cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine brewed coffee, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. While the cake is baking, prepare the Dalgona coffee topping. In a bowl, whip together instant coffee, sugar, and hot water until thick and creamy.
  5. Once the cake has cooled, spread the Dalgona coffee mixture over the top. Serve each slice with a dollop of whipped cream for an extra layer of decadence.
