Konnichiwa! To all the aspiring chefs and food lovers. Don't you all love the popcorn they serve at cinemas? Want to make that at home with few simple ingredients? Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup            Popcorn Kernels
  • 3-4 tbsp           Vegetable Oil
  • To Taste          Salt
  • 35 gram          Butter

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large, deep pot or stovetop popcorn popper over medium heat.
  2. Add 3-4 popcorn kernels to the pot and cover with a lid.
  3. Once the test kernels pop, add the rest of the popcorn kernels and cover the pot again.
  4. Shake the pot gently to evenly distribute the kernels and prevent burning.
  5. As the popcorn pops, shake the pot occasionally to ensure even popping.
  6. Once the popping slows down, remove the pot from the heat and let it sit for a moment to allow any remaining kernels to pop.
  7. Carefully remove the lid, being cautious of hot steam.
  8. Season the popcorn with salt and melted butter to taste, tossing to coat evenly.
