 Easy Fruit Watermelon Jello

Ingredients

  • 1 small          Watermelon
  • 1 pack           Flavored Gelatin
  • 1 tbsp            Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1/4 cup         Cold Water
  • 1/4 cup         Boiling Water
  • 1 cup            Assorted Fruits

Instructions

  1. Cut the watermelon in half lengthwise. Scoop out the flesh, leaving the rind intact. Dice the fruits and set it aside.
  2. In a bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for a few minutes to bloom.
  3. Add the boiling water to the bloomed unflavored gelatin and stir until fully dissolved.
  4. Combine the flavored gelatin with the dissolved unflavored gelatin mixture. Stir well.
  5. Add the assorted fruits to the gelatin mixture and mix thoroughly. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding sugar if needed.
  6. Pour the mixture into the hollowed-out watermelon rind halves.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, or until the jello is firm.
  8. Once set, slice into wedges and serve chilled.
