Ingredients

  • Potatoes                        500 g
  • Water                            1 L
  • Fried Dough                 2 Tbsp
  • Corn Flour                    2 Tbsp
  • Black Pepper                1/4 Tsp
  • Salt                               1/2 Tsp

Instructions

  1. Using a shredder. Shred the peeled potatoes.
  2. Put the shredded potatoes in a bowl and add 1 L of cold water. Soak for about 5 mins.
  3. Now put the potatoes in a paper towel and drain the water.
  4. Put the drained and shredded potatoes in a large bowl.
  5. Add black pepper, salt, fried dough and corn starch. (Spices can be adjusted according to taste preference). Mix all the ingredients.
  6. Now take your mixture and head over to the stove. Put a pan on low flame and add cooking oil.
  7. Now scoop up 2 Tbsp of your batter and put it on the pan. Cook till golden-brown from both sides.
  8. Repeat till the batter is finished. Serve it with fried eggs or smoked salmon or any other side-dish of your choice.
