Oatmeal Breakfast Bars


Hi! To all the Aspiring Chefs & Food-Lovers. Chef Mikoto is back with another delicious dessert recipe to satiate your sweet tooth. So grab your Toques and aprons and let's head to the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • Almond butter            1 cup
  • Honey                     3/4 cup
  • Oats                      2.5 cups

Instructions

  1. Take a pan and put it over the stove on low heat. Add oats and stir till crispy. Remove the pan.
  2. In a saucepan add almond butter and honey and mix on low flame until both ingredients are incorporated into a smooth batter.
  3. Turn off the stove and add crispy oats to the batter and mix by folding technique.
  4. In an 11-inch baking tray lined with parchment paper put in your batter and smooth it using a wooden spatula.
  5. Pop it in the fridge and chill it for 4 - 6 hours.
  6. Take it out and cut it into square pieces. Plate it and serve it with blueberries.
