Easy weight loss, healthy,
nutritious & delish granola bars.
Konnichiwa! To all my lovely readers, aspiring chefs and food lovers. Chef Mikoto brings to you a very demanding recipe for weight loss.
So grab your Toques and let's head to the kitchen.
Ingredients
Oats 2 cupsAlmonds 1 cup
Pistachios 1/2 cup
Pumpkin seeds 1/4 cup
Sunflower seeds 1/4 cup
Dried Apricots 1 cup
Dates (pitted) 2 cups
Almond butter 1/2 cup
Honey 1/4 cups
Salt 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- Roast oats on low flame till they become crisp.
- Coarsely crush almonds and pistachios.
- In another pan put pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, crushed almonds and crushed pistachios. On low flame roast them.
- After that add it to the roasted oats and mix.
- Now take potted dates and 3 Tbsp of water and blend them making a smooth paste.
- Add the date paste and almond butter in a pan and on low flame mix it till the texture becomes smooth and shiny.
- Now add this paste to the oat mixture. Add honey and salt.
- Mix it. Now take a baking tray lined with parchment paper and add your mixture into it. Flatten it with a wooden spatula.
- Chill it in the fridge for 3-4 hours. Take it out and cut it into rectangles.
