Konnichiwa! To all aspiring chefs and food lovers. Welcome back to Chef Miko's kitchen. Today I share with you a simple 3 ingredients shortbread cookie recipe perfect for Christmas. So tie your aprons and let's get started.

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour             2 cups
  • Powdered sugar             1/2 cup
  • Butter                        1 cup

Instructions

  1. Add softened, room-temperature butter in a bowl together with powdered sugar and whisk till light and fluffy.
  2. Now add flour and whisk till a crumbly texture appears.
  3. Knead with hands till dough forms after that cover it and refrigerate it for 30 minutes. So that the dough becomes hard.
  4. Dust your work surface with castor flour and roll out your dough to 1/4 inch thickness.
  5. Using a cookie cutter cut medium circles.
  6. Now transfer your cookies to a greased baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Pop it into a preheated oven and bake at 350°F for 16-18 min until golden.
  8. Cool it at room temperature on a wire rack, transfer it to a plate and serve.
