Shortbread Cookies
Konnichiwa! To all aspiring chefs and food lovers. Welcome back to Chef Miko's kitchen. Today I share with you a simple 3 ingredients shortbread cookie recipe perfect for Christmas. So tie your aprons and let's get started.
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour 2 cups
- Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
- Butter 1 cup
Instructions
- Add softened, room-temperature butter in a bowl together with powdered sugar and whisk till light and fluffy.
- Now add flour and whisk till a crumbly texture appears.
- Knead with hands till dough forms after that cover it and refrigerate it for 30 minutes. So that the dough becomes hard.
- Dust your work surface with castor flour and roll out your dough to 1/4 inch thickness.
- Using a cookie cutter cut medium circles.
- Now transfer your cookies to a greased baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Pop it into a preheated oven and bake at 350°F for 16-18 min until golden.
- Cool it at room temperature on a wire rack, transfer it to a plate and serve.
